Where does this fear of needles come from? I've got a friend who's the same - last year she wanted to go on holiday and needed some shots, and I had to go to the doctor's with her to stop her locking herself in the loo beforehand! She had the shots and admitted that it didn't hurt, it was just the thought of what was happening that petrified her. I guess we're all scared of something - I hate the whole concept of humans flying. But I still force myself to get on a plane and do it now and again, even if I sit as if I have rigor mortis during the whole affair. All I'd ask is that you try and do it once a year, despite your fears (treat yourself with something afterwards to make it more bearable). And you know you'll get well looked after :D LOL! Now, this is gonna sound pathetic, but I've worked for the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service for almost 5 years & have never donated any blood. And yeah, I am a punk & I am scared of needles! Anyhow, well done with the blog & I'm sure I'll be back to check it out on a regular basis. This is my first look at your blog & it seems pretty cool.
