Saw Hotalacio @ Dingwalls in Camden Town back in '86; Was stood at the bar getting a brew when this punk geezer notices the crass signs on me leather jacket and say's 'Alright mate, next on stage is me new band, Hotalicio, we used to be Flux of Pink Indians innit?'

Was a weird night for the 80's, loads of ppl 'dancing'??

Mad as...back then only women danced (round their handbags) while proper blokes just stood about noddin their heads (unless you were a punk but I've never considered pogo-ing to be 'dancin' really.)

Anyway, they set the stage up simply with just a ghetto blaster and mics and the pair spat out raw punk vocals over the top of a 'hip-hop' backing track.

Got slightly wasted after that tho’ can remember thinking this was how the Beastie Boys should sound....

Been searching the web for a while just to get a listen again so happy as larry to have found the album for download here!

Great site by the way...
