A collectively run building providing space and resources for people and groups working on self-organised, non-hierarchical projects for radical social change. The resources of the building include meeting-space, library, shared offices, a roofgarden, banner and prop-making space and an action information area.
The Lucy Parsons Center is an independent, non-profit, radical bookstore and community space. We are run collectively by our volunteers—no bosses, no pay. We are kept alive by dedicated volunteers who contribute their time to keeping this project on its feet. As well as the store, there are regular meetings, information and radical movie nights. The collective are also happy to be asked to provide a stall or info display at events around Boston.
The Center is open every day. Our hours are 12 - 9 PM on Monday - Friday, and 1 - 7 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
